This guide helps you to get started with your new LiveResponse account. We will show you what you need to do to before you can start broadcasting. Before you can start using LiveResponse, you need to create an account.
The mobile phones (or web cameras) you use to broadcast are grouped by something we call channels. You can for instance create one channel for all mobile phones belonging to a specific department.
Before you can add any broadcasting mobile phones, you need to create a channel to put them in. This is done under Settings - Channels, when you have signed in.
Next step is to add a mobile phone to your channel. A mobile phone (or web camera) is called a camera in LiveResponse, and you add a new camera under Settings - Cameras.
Give the camera a name and choose what channel to put it in. When you are done, you will receive a username and password - write them down, you will need them in step 4.
To be able to broadcast video with LiveResponse, you need to download a small application on your mobile phone. The application is called Bambuser and you can download it by starting the web browser on your phone and navigating to m.bambuser.com.
If you have an iPhone or Android-phone, the application is available through AppStore and Android Market.
When you have installed the Bambuser application on your phone, the only thing left to do is to sign in. Start Bambuser on your phone and enter the username and password you received in step 2.
When you have signed in, you can start broadcasting by clicking Broadcast. All broadcasted video will be available to you through LiveResponse.
